CRN Names 10 Xerox Executives and Channel Partners to Its Prestigious Women of the Channel List

At Xerox, we are proud to recognize the integral role of women in shaping the business world as we know it today. Over the last four decades, women have gained and exhibited more influence than at any other point during industrialization.

As of this writing, nearly 60% of American women are part of the workforce, versus just 39% in 19651. In the U.S., women earn almost 60 percent of undergraduate degrees and 60 percent of all master’s degrees. Women are also increasingly serving in managerial positions with over half of managerial and professional occupations (52.2%) held by women in 2013, a dramatic increase from the 30.6% they represented in 1968.

Since its inception, Xerox has been acclaimed for its ability to innovate, ever directing change rather than following it. Perhaps that is why Xerox has the distinction of naming its first female CEO in 2001, a time when only 11% of corporate leaders were women. And why today Xerox has the privilege of announcing that six team members and five Xerox Channel Partners have been recognized for their work in the tech industry, a playing field historically dominated by men.

CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named the following Xerox executives to its prestigious 2018 Women of the Channel list.

  • Deborah Purfurst, Vice President, Channel Operations
  • Amy Belcher, VP Global Channel Marketing and Enablement
  • Charlene Fischer, Vice President, US Channel Sales
  • Tracey Koziol, Senior Vice President Workplace Solutions
  • Alissa Johnson, Chief Information Security Officer
  • Pamela Wilson, Director Inside Partners Operations

CRN has also recognized the following Xerox Channel Partners:

CRN’s editorial team selects Women of the Channel honorees based on their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the channel. The executives honored with this distinction hold varying roles across the IT channel and play an essential role in the channel ecosystem.

Says Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company, “CRN’s 2018 Women of the Channel list honors executives who are driving channel progress through a number of achievements—exemplary partner programs, innovative product development and marketing, effective team-building, visionary leadership and accelerated sales growth—as well as advocacy for the next generation of women channel executives.”

We also have the proud distinction of sharing that our own Amy Belcher, Vice President, Global Channel Marketing and Enablement, appears on the CRN Channel Power 100 List, an elite subset of the Women of the Channel list. The Power 100 belong to an exclusive group drawn from the larger list: women leaders whose vision and influence are key drivers of their companies’ success and help move the entire IT channel forward.

Congratulations to Amy, and to all of this year’s honorees.
