Xerox Kicks off 2017 Global Partner Events with Future of Work Forum in New York City

In a continuing show of commitment to its channel partners, on April 25 Xerox hosted 200 current and prospective partners in New York City to discuss the evolution of today’s workplace. The Xerox Future of Work Partner Forum kicked off the company’s 2017 series of global information and education events for both customers and channel partners.

Attendees at Future of Work received detailed insights into new revenue boosting sales strategies, and were treated to a first-hand look at the company’s newly launched Xerox ConnectKey® product portfolio. The new line of 29 ConnectKey®-enabled products is especially exciting to partners, thanks to its ability to transform the way small and midsize businesses work by turning traditional printing devices like the multifunction printer into true workplace assistants.

The new Xerox AltaLink® and Xerox VersaLink® lines go beyond copy, scan, fax, or print, giving customers the ability to translate, share, and create electronic documents with just a few easy taps on the screen, making them the easiest and most efficient answer to managing documents and information in the ever changing workplace. And they are a unique way for channel partners to maximize revenue opportunities because they represent a full portfolio of workplace technologies from high-end office multifunction printers and managed print services to workflow automation solutions.

Mike Feldman welcomes the crowd at Manhattan’s Skylight Modern

The day-long conference was held at Manhattan’s Skylight Modern where channel partners were able to get hands on to explore the capabilities of the new printers and multifunction devices. They had the opportunity to create working, personalized apps and solutions using their real world experience to solve customer challenges. Channel partners also got a valuable look at the many features that make the platform customizable – features that ultimately make this portfolio more attractive to customers, and more profitable and easier for partners to sell. Managed Print Services was also an important focus, part of a number of conversations around sales and customer value proposition.

Attendees also learned more about channel partner solutions that will enhance mobility, security and customization to help their customers work better – solutions which can also help channel partners grow their revenue and enter into new markets.

But it wasn’t all presentations and products. Partners also spent time networking with Xerox executives, industry thought leaders and other channel partners. Included in that list was Keynote speaker Peter Leyden, a well-known innovator, entrepreneur and the former managing editor of WIRED. Attendees were treated to Leyden’s insights on the era of reinvention and the key trends that are currently shaping the future of work.

Partner feedback has been excellent, and continues to pour in. “This conference demonstrates Xerox’s continued commitment to channel partners,” said Mark Elliott, president of Houston Tex.-based 3i International. “They’ve made their full line of office, light production, managed print services and workflow automation offerings available to partners—giving us the potential to open whole new markets—and now it’s time to exploit the opportunity.

A similar forum for Xerox pan-European channel partners took place in London, while Xerox Future of Work events for customers will take place around the world throughout 2017.
