Pete Peterson, President of Xerox Channels, Recognized on CRN’s List of Top 100 Executives

Just a little over a year after being appointed Xerox’s Global Channel Strategy Leader, the now President of Xerox Channels, Pete Peterson, has been named to CRN’s List of Top 100 Executives. CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, annually recognizes leaders from the technology industry who have played an integral role in shaping today’s IT channel, whether by driving huge cultural shifts, creating rich new opportunities, or forging innovative routes to success. Peterson also has the distinction of being honored as a Top 25 Channel Sales Leader.

“Visionary and strategic leadership can make the difference between just surviving and actually excelling in this period of disruptive change for the IT channel,” said Bob Skelley, CEO, The Channel Company. “In order for technology suppliers and solution providers to thrive and stay ahead of the competition, they need leaders who are able to envision both the future of the channel and the role their organization needs to play in order to create that reality. CRN’s 2018 Top 100 Executives embody these qualities. They are change agents who deliver unwavering guidance to their companies, always asking where are we headed and not being afraid to take the necessary steps to get there.”

It is no surprise that Peterson has been included in this prestigious group. An experienced channels professional and influential leader with a long history of success in the IT B2B industry.

At Xerox, we are putting a strong focus on enhancing and expanding our channel reach. We recently announced updates to our award winning partner program, which has consistently been ranked among the industry’s best. We’re also driving partner growth, with plans to grow our U.S. print partners by 25%. This drive to lead the channels industry and recruit new partners is succeeding with the help of moves like expansions to our portfolio of customizable, easy to package products and solutions, and new hardware that is changing the game for production printers. This industry recognition is just the latest indicator that we’re moving in the right direction.

Peterson’s commitment to supporting channel partners has had him in the field regularly, meeting partners face to face to answer questions, provide support, and gain valuable feedback that can help Xerox better serve them. Pete has also recently authored a series of posts here on the Channel Connection blog where he explores topics ranging from how to motivate your sales teams to the top networking mistakes they may be making, customer loyalty, and more.

Congratulations to Pete on this prestigious recognition. Follow along on the Channel Connection blog to read Pete’s posts, and to stay abreast of the latest Xerox channel news.
